I eat some spiders, I light stuff on fire, and I invent an epic game called boomerang chicken. Why? I was a boy. The chapters are short and it would be quite easy to read a chapter a day. In doing so I hope you laugh. I even hope you cry a little. I hope you nod a lot in agreement. I hope it brings back some wonderful memories. But most of all, I hope it brings people back to a familiar understanding of what to believe in, to hope for, and to expect from a man.

A light but serious read with a few laughs, I bought this to help me understand my 15 year old boy and his relationship with his dad (my husband). I"m hoping to get both of them to read it as well when they finally clear a few hours from their calendars. Some great insights into why boys do what they do and need specific things growing up. It's so difficult for a mom to understand a teenage boy, especially in our new century of sexting, computer games, women's rights (such as they are) and peer pressure like never before. No preaching, just vignettes and advice that makes perfect sense. Buy and read, no regrets.Product details
